Is there anyone who can answer whether what is called mixed-method approach is the same as Arbnor & Bjerke call
methodology of complementarity?

Arbnor & Bjerke's methodology of complementarity is, as I understand it, a good deal more sophisticated than a mixed-method approach. I'm experiencing mixed-method as a rather naive approach in relation to deeper philosophical and epistemological aspects. Most of the researchers using the concept of mixed-method are not very aware of the philosophical and paradigmatic issues. :!:
